OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) is for adults interested in learning more about the Catholic faith.

What is OCIA?

Adults may prepare for the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation with the OCIA program. The time it takes to prepare for the sacraments varies greatly, depending on several variables.

Contact the office at 920-846-2276 to schedule with Father Walter to get some initial questions answered. You may begin at any time during the year.

Have questions?

Do you have questions about who Jesus is? Why Catholics do what they do? Interested in having the Catholic faith explained? Why prayer? What’s all the talk about Mary, the Mother of God? What does a priest have to do with me reconciling with God? For answers, call the office at 920-846-2276 and sign up for the OCIA program–a scheduled program will be specifically designed for you!

Who can be a part of OCIA?

All are welcome to continue their journey as a Confirmed Catholic. You are welcome to join any of the OCIA programs.

 Praise His Holy Name

Have you ever attended a Prayer Meeting or Prayer Group? Our Parishes have a wonderful opportunity for members to come together in prayer to sing, praise, read scripture, and pray for others every month!

Praise His Holy Name prayer group is a faith community that welcomes all people to worship God in song, pray the scriptures, and intercede for others. We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday evening of the month at 4:30 PM upstairs in St. Anthony school for approximately one hour. The format for this prayer gathering includes;

Praise and Worship, Scripture Sharing, Intercessory Prayer & Songs of Worship

Time is available afterward for prayer teams to also pray with individuals wanting individual prayer. Facilitators for PHHN are Brenda Knaus, Karen Knoerzer, and David Witt, who also leads our music worship.

Our gatherings are open to receiving the Charismatic gifts, the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are encouraged by our Holy Father, Pope Francis and his comments about the Charismatic Renewal- “a current of grace in the church and for the church.” See the story at Catholic Online.

If you have any questions, please contact any of the facilitators

either at church or by phone. We look forward to sharing our

Catholic faith in a relaxed and spirit filled environment!
Charismatic Prayer groups affiliated with the DCRC

(Diocesan Charismatic Renewal Center) are under the spiritual

direction of the bishop in their diocese, and in full accord with

the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
